As students in a fast growing world, it would be deeply beneficial in gaining you and your company’s support for our Burlington High School Red Devils Robotics Team. We kindly ask for your help in support of furthering an education in the field of engineering and teamwork. Ranging from freshmen to seniors, we are lucky to have such a dedicated group of students and mentors.

In the preceding year, we entered the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) in hopes of building the foundation of our small, but growing, robotics team. FRC is a robotics competition in which many countries participate and compete with gracious professionalism. As the FRC season started in January, the team kicked into top gear. Everyday was a commitment to meet the deadline. During last year’s competition, we competed against 52 other robotics teams.  We won some, and we lost some, but it’s the journey and the knowledge that we gained that counts in the long run.

In order to participate again we seek your sponsorship. We are dedicated to learning from our mistakes and turning our losses into wins. We may be a small group but we cannot be judged by our size. In previous years, we participated in the Boston University Vex Robotics Qualifier and placed 2nd, and won the prize for “Most Robust Robot!”  This year we seek to make a standing victory in the larger FRC competition. 

As high school students disembarking on a journey of innovation we once again ask for your support. With your sponsorship we will advertise your logo during the upcoming season. This will not only be beneficial for you, but it will give us an insight into real world problems. We will gain further knowledge into the foundations of commitment, engineering, budgeting, and cooperation.
